2024 elections | Mbeki advises ANC to keep election promises

PIETERMARITZBURG - Keep your election promises, and voters will trust you.

That’s the advice to the ANC by its former President, Thabo Mbeki.

He’s been campaigning in the Moses Mabhida region in Pietermaritzburg.

The area has been plagued by crime, unemployment, and water and electricity shortages.

The ANC is fighting the MK Party, IFP, EFF and DA who are all vying to remove it from power.

The large voting blocs of eThekwini and uMgungundlovu have become election battlegrounds.
