JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says coalition governments are collapsing all over the province.
He says these pacts have left some metros struggling to meet the basic needs of the people.
Lesufi was speaking to JJ Tabane on Power to Truth on Tuesday night.
"Coalition governments are not good for our country," he said.
"Check what is happening in Ekurhuleni, check what is happening in Tshwane, that municipality has completely collapsed.
"Coalition governments, unless they are properly legislated and there’s a proper framework on how they should function, believe they are a major setback."
