CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance will continue to govern the Western Cape.
Despite ongoing disputes, it's managed to receive more than 50 percent of the votes.
However this will not be the case in Gauteng, with no party receiving a majority, coalitions will need to be formed.
However the current metros in the province being led by coalitions are all troubled.
