DURBAN - The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal is confident of victory in next year's polls.
Provincial secretary Bheki Mtolo says opposition parties' efforts to form coalitions will prove fruitless.
Mtolo was adamant that the work they are doing now will ensure an outright win in next year's general elections.

The ANC has lost control of various municipalities in the northern parts of the province and by-elections are showing that it continues to lose support in many wards.
The party's National Working Committee is deploying additional NEC members to KwaZulu-Natal in the build-up to elections.
