JOHANNESBURG - Over 74,000 South Africans will vote on 17-18 May from outside the country according to IEC Chairperson, Mosotho Moepya.
He was addressing a crowd at the National Day of Prayer hosted at Grace Bible Church in Soweto on Sunday.
Moepya says 70 political parties will participate in the elections on 29 May.
He said, "We've also gone to where South Africans are outside of the Republic to those countries where we have missions...elections were proclaimed on the 23rd February and on the 8th March parties and candidates had to submit their list of candidates... where we see today, 70 of those unique parties will be participating in this elections."
