PRETORIA - The Judge in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial wants a previous Vodacom expert to be recalled to the stand.

Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng wants to determine how a discrepancy occurred between the evidence of the police, and that of the cellphone company.

This relates specifically to alleged correspondence between accused number 5, and singer Kelly Khumalo.

The defence has accused police data analyst Lambertus Steyn of fabricating his evidence, after admitting he forgot to make some amendments to his testimony.
