JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is giving an update, on next year's placements for Grade 1 and Grade 8 pupils.
The department says it has already processed close to 500,000 applications.
The initial deadline of the 14th of July was extended to the 28th of July to accommodate further applications.
