JOHANNESBURG - On Monday, the families of two South Africans detained in Equatorial Guinea since February 2023, submitted an official plea to the President of the Pan-African Parliament.
They're pleading with the body to step in and ensure the men's immediate release.
Both Peter Huxham and Frik Potgieter worked for a multinational oil and gas business in Equatorial Guinea.
They were detained on allegations of drug use.
