PRETORIA - South Africa is now ranked among the top ten countries in the world when it comes to organised crime.
That's according to the latest crime index by the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime. The crime index reveals that extortion and the drug trade seems to be on the rise in the country.

Security Expert, Professor Jacob Mofokeng says the country is number seven out of 190 countries that were surveyed. He says this is very concerning but not surprising as the country has turned into a haven for criminals.
