JOHANNESBURG - A Johannesburg woman with cancer went into hospital to have a hysterectomy.
Not only did she lose her ability to bear children, unfortunately she lost quality of life, because of alleged botched surgery.
Her doctor stitched her bladder by mistake. Perhaps worse still, his assistant is not registered with the Health Professions Council of SA. And now the woman now faces losing a kidney.
