BENONI - Alleged serial rapist Sipho Lucas Phiri says his right to a fair trial outweighs the principles of open justice.
He claims televising the trial will endanger the safety of his family and subject his children to bullying.
Phiri is appealing a decision that granted eNCA permission to broadcast court proceedings.
He's accused of raping at least 37 women between 2018 and 2023.
Judge Rasigamani Bhika will deliver her judgment on Friday.
