Violence in schools | School fighting under the spotlight

CAPE TOWN - School bullying is once again in the spotlight after two Western Cape High schools saw violent clashes playing out on and off the school premises.

At Cedar High School in Rocklands, Mitchells Plain, two boys were stabbed multiple times by fellow pupils and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.

A 17 and an 18-year-old have been arrested and are facing attempted murder charges. 

Outside Alexander Sinton High School in Crawford, a video that has since gone viral shows a schoolgirl being badly beaten by another girl.
