JOHANNESBURG - Schools have seen a surge in violence between pupils in the past month.
It’s a disturbing reality that has affected schools mainly in Gauteng and the Western Cape.
In fact, armed guards have been deployed to high-risk schools in Gauteng.

The surge in violent attacks at Eldorado Park schools in Johannesburg has prompted the community to collaborate with non-governmental organisations and private security firms to form a school safety crisis intervention team.
