DURBAN - A taxi strike in Durban is entering its eighth day.
Long-distance operators are angry over permits and impounded taxis.
But, there's been pushback from other associations who say the strike is hurting their business.
Taxi associations met with the KwaZulu-Natal government, seeking an end to the strike.
Both Santaco and KZN Transport MEC Siboniso Duma want the operators to resume work while talks continue to address their issues with excluded routes on permits.
