JOHANNESBURG - Talks between the ANC, DA, IFP and others to form a Government of National Unity will resume this week.
The parties hope to conclude the talks before President Ramaphosa’s inauguration scheduled for Wednesday.
The ANC, IFP and DA and a number of smaller parties have signed a statement of intent to form a GNU.

That was a broad framework for a model to form an inclusive government.
The parties will now iron out the finer details, which may include ministerial positions.
The President is expected to announce his new Cabinet after he is sworn in.
