CAPE TOWN - A suspect arrested in connection with the fire at Platteklip Gorge in the Table Mountain National Park, is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
Teams from SANParks, the Western Cape Disaster Management Centre, and Working on Fire have managed to contain the blaze.

Around nine hectares of land was burnt before containment.
Injuries and damage to property have been reported.
SANParks spokesperson JP Louw said daily assessments are being done to establish if the area is safe to open.
