Sibanye-Stillwater strike | Some workers vow not to return to work

RUSTENBURG - Work is expected to resume on Friday at Sibanye-Stillwater's Kwezi Shaft in Rustenburg.

Over 200 miners staged an underground sit-in on Monday.

They were demanding to be included in the mine's share scheme.

But by Wednesday, all of them resurfaced without their demands being met.

Some have laid the blame squarely on AMCU, accusing the union of failing them.

The mine says it has explained to striking workers that they do not yet qualify for the share scheme and follow through with their threats of disciplinary action against those who fail to report for duty.
