Serial killer Sifiso Mkhwanazi’s sentencing proceedings continue

JOHANNESBURG - Sentencing proceedings for rapist and serial killer Sifiso Mkhwanazi continues on Thursday.

A social worker has recommended direct imprisonment aligned to the minimum prescribed sentence.

An earlier psych report also found that he is of sound mind and shows no remorse for his actions.

The 21-year-old was found guilty of several counts of premeditated rape and murder earlier this year.

He was arrested after bodies of six women were found at his father's panel beating workshop.

All his victims were Zimbabwean nationals working as sex workers in Johannesburg.
