CAPE TOWN - A massive headache and source of immense frustration.
That’s how social grant beneficiaries -- in very long queues -- have described the process of switching from their Sassa Gold Cards to the Postbank Black Cards.
Government announced that the deadline for beneficiaries to swap their cards has been extended from 28 February to 20 March 2025.
It says that mobile offices will be deployed to serve rural communities.
Officials have also vowed they will monitor the process closely and respond swiftly to any challenges.
