SA’s water crisis | Tsakane residents without water for five years

JOHANNESBURG - A water expert is warning that Gauteng's water infrastructure is on the brink of collapse.

The ailing network is affected by constant pipe bursts and leaks.

There are fears that a lack of maintenance may leave communities with outages and interrupted supply.

Fed-up Johannesburg residents say there's been poor communication from the city on planned outages.

In Tsakane, communities there say they haven't had water for five long years.
