SA's water crisis | Tankers deployed to affected areas in Joburg

JOHANNESBURG - Some Joburgers are still high and dry due to maintenance work at the Eikenhof pump station.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 9pm Monday night with supply to resume by Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, work on the Zwartkopjes station has been completed and it's pumping at 100 percent.

But authorities say full recovery could take a few days.

Joburg Water says plans are in place to provide water tankers to affected areas.
