GQEBERHA - Law enforcement authorities in the Eastern Cape are increasing their visibility as holidaymakers prepare to return to their homes and workplaces.
Over 200 people died in road accidents in that province between the first and 28th of December.

Authorities are urging motorists to play their part in curbing fatalities.
The Deputy Director of Traffic Services in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Monwabisi Thiso, is urging motorists to drink water and take frequent breaks during long journeys while reiterating the dangers of drinking and driving.
