JOHANNESBURG - The governments of South Africa and Zimbabwe should consider special permits for border village residents who frequent the two countries.
That’s the call from leader of Tshirundu, village that is located on the banks of Limpopo River, on the South African side.
South African authorities continue to grapple to curb illegal crossings at the Beitbridge border.
The Border Management Authority says it anticipates even more people will attempt to cross the border illegally on Sunday as more holidaymakers from other parts of the continent return to South Africa.
