SAHRC probes systemic problems in NW scholar transport

MAHIKENG - The Human Rights Commission is finishing its hearings on scholar transport in the North West.

It has been hearing submissions since Tuesday, including from the North West departments of Transport and Education.

The investigation aims to identify systemic problems, and recommend solutions.

The commission is expected to compile a comprehensive report, exposing the loopholes within the scholar transport system.

But it also wants to see accountability from those in charge.
