JOHANNESBURG - SA Weather has issued severe weather alerts.
Isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers are expected over the central and eastern parts of the country, with severe thunderstorms in places in the east.
KwaZulu-Natal will also be battered by more heavy rains on Sunday.
Twelve people have died due to intermittent rains in different parts of the province since December.
