JOHANNESBURG - Eskom says load rotation in parts of Soweto will end on Sunday.
The utility implemented it after a transformer was damaged, affecting many areas.
Eskom says it expects electricity to be fully restored by 30 June.
"We are confident that we may restore supply on the 30th," said Eskom's Daphe Mokwena.
"But if on Saturday we see that there's a chance that we may not restore supply on Sunday we will inform customers," she said.
"We are confident that by Sunday all the repairs that we are doing will be completed and supply restored."
