Restore the power grid | Eskom forecasts a good winter

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom says we can expect to continue enjoying suspended power cuts.

The utility says its energy availability factor is currently at 64 percent and it expects that to increase further.

The country is enjoying over two months without rolling blackouts.

Eskom chair Mteto Nyati says the new management has been working hard to ensure the lights stay on.

Nyati says contrary to what people say, Eskom is not using diesel excessively to prevent outages.
