CAPE TOWN - The restoration of Parliament is on track.
But it will take about two more years before the National Assembly and Old Assembly are fully functional.

Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Dean Macpherson conducted an oversight visit to the ongoing work to clear and reconstruct the burnt-down National Assembly building.
Parliament was gutted in January 2022 and will cost billions to rebuild.
