Rand Water maintenance | Joburgers urged to store water

JOHANNESBURG - Joburgers are bracing for water supply interruptions from Saturday until the end of next month. 

Rand Water is embarking on an intense maintenance programme.

The utility says it's necessary to preserve the integrity of the infrastructure and reduce costs.

Rand Water says affected municipalities have been advised to inform customers about contingency plans.

Joburg Water assured residents that water would be available during the maintenance period.
