Rand Water begins infrastructure maintenance

JOHANNESBURG - Rand Water's planned maintenance kicks off on Saturday until 29 July.

During the maintenance period, pumping will be reduced in several areas resulting in interruptions.

Affected stations will pump at between 50 and 83 percent.

Mogale City on the West Rand will be the first affected.

The utility is assuring residents' taps will not run dry, and it's promising to communicate effectively with users.
