JOHANNESBURG - Police have dismantled a clandestine drug laboratory worth millions of rands on the East Rand.
Gauteng police, acting on a tip-off, searched a premises in Alberton.
They discovered massive quantities of precursor chemicals, equipment and actual drugs.
Eight suspects were arrested and will face charges of dealing in drugs and contravening the Drug Trafficking Act.
Provincial Commissioner Tommy Mthombeni has commended the officers for their work.
