Parliament gives details of preparations ahead of first NA sitting

CAPE TOWN - Parliament will give an update on preparations ahead of the first sittings.

The National Assembly convenes on Friday to elect a Speaker and crucially our next President.

The National Council of Provinces sits on Saturday to elect its chairperson.

Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will preside over the National Assembly sitting.

At the same time, police top brass will give an update on security measures ahead of the inaugural sitting.
