GQEBERHA - NAFCOC in Nelson Mandela Bay says it's on a mission to stop spaza shops operating illegally in the Eastern Cape metro.
It says this is a way to protect children from food poisoning.

There've been cases around the country where children have fallen ill, and even died, after eating snacks bought from spaza shops.
The municipality says it's already conducting regular raids on the stores.
