Mbeki warns ANC failure to renew will lead to death

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC is sentencing itself to death if it doesn't renew itself. 

That's the stern warning from from former President Thabo Mbeki.

He says the ANC has been discussing its renewal agenda for too long without anything real happening.

Mbeki also says the party must review and broaden its step-aside rule.
