JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng residents should brace themselves for more days without water.
The Rand Water maintenance programme might be nearing completion, but communities are urged to make allowance for the system to fully recover.
The month-long process, expected to conclude next Tuesday, has left many parts of Gauteng battling interrupted supply, with dry taps running completely dry in some areas.

Communities say they're struggling with water supply, while municipalities fail to fix leakages and burst pipes.
Rand Water insists the network of pipes is the responsibility of various local authorities who need to ensure residents are properly supplied with water.
