LEBOWAKGOMO - Access to drinking water remains a pipe dream for many in Limpopo.
Premier Phophi Ramathuba says almost 40 percent of residents don’t receive piped water.
She attributes this to a growing population that puts pressure on ailing infrastructure.
She lauded R120-billion worth of pledges made in the recent Limpopo Investment Conference; improvement of matric results from 79.5 percent in 2023 to 85.1 peercent in 2024; and committed to reducing poverty, but the premier said nothing about corruption.
