DURBAN - Traffic has started to pick up on major KwaZulu-Natal routes as holidaymakers leave the coast.
Over 1,500 vehicles per hour were recorded at the Marianhill Toll Plaza, on the N3 northbound, at midday on Saturday.

With bad weather forecast, authorities are urging motorists to adhere to the rules of the road to avoid accidents.
Authorities have vowed to maintain the zero-tolerance approach to those who break the law.
