OTHONGATHI - Devastating storms and a tornado in Othongathi, north of Durban, have destroyed some schools in the area.
One of them caters to over 900 pupils and they are now anxious as it comes during exam season.
There is also concerns of a health crisis with a lack of basic services like water.
Thousands have been displaced and 11 people have died as a result of the disaster.
