PRETORIA - The lead investigator in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial says there aren't any bank records that prove Kelly Khumalo paid the accused to kill the soccer star.
Bongani Gininda says, however, that Khumalo remains a person of interest in the murder.
Gininda again faced questions from the defence on the police’s investigations.
The defence again questioned Khumalo’s status as a complainant in the case, as her cellphone was taken by the intruders.
The trial continues on Thursday.
