Justice for Meyiwa | Chicco Twala says allegations by defence 'publicity stunt'

PRETORIA - Musician Sello 'Chicco' Twala says his son Longwe did not kill Senzo Meyiwa.  

This as one of the defence lawyers in the Meyiwa murder trial insists this will be proven in court, but Twala’s father has rubbished the claims.

Twala was speaking at the Randburg magistrate’s court where his sons Longwe and Sello were appearing on theft charges.

The duo allegedly broke in and stole equipment from his studio last month.

He says the allegations by the defence are a mere publicity stunt.

Twala maintains he has a good relationship with the Meyiwa family and says he too wants the matter finalised.

The trial continues with Mangena back on the stand for cross-examination.
