JOHANNESBURG - Joburg's Transport MMC Kenny Kunene has condemned Soweto taxi associations for blocking Rea Vaya feeder buses.
Taxi associations recently demanded all 45 feeder buses stop running despite a court order allowing them to operate.
Matters reached a head after two bus drivers were killed, prompting police to escort Rea Vaya buses for safety reasons.
Joburg Transport MMC Kenny Kunene said that the Rea Vaya has been operating for the past 15 years.
