Gauteng government promises to pay NPOs after delays

JOHANNESBURG - Unbearable funding delays for Gauteng NPOs will soon come to an end.

That's the promise from Finance MEC Lebohang Maile.

He was giving an update on the crisis alongside Social Development MEC, Faith Mazibuko.

"We are deeply committed to ensuring that NPOs operating in the province are paid timeously in order to ensure the continuation and seamless provision of services," he said.
