BLOEMFONTEIN - There are growing calls to shut down spaza shops over the deaths of children from food poisoning.
The Free State has joined Gauteng in banning the sale of food and snacks inside and outside school premises.
It comes after over 100 cases of food poisoning were reported at three schools in the province.

A total of 21 children were taken to Pelonomi hospital with suspected food poisoning.
