JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng's emergency services are recording a rise in assaults, accidents and gunshot incidents.
Emergency service calls usually increase by as much as 25 percent in Gauteng over the festive season.
Data recorded this year indicates an increase in the number of trauma cases.
A fleet of over 400 vehicles has been allocated and more than 4,000 emergency personnel have been deployed to provide rapid and efficient responses to emergencies.
