DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has a plan to reduce contact crime in the province.
He says the majority of the cases are caused by arguments which lead to feuds.
Mkhwanazi says community dialogues will help resolve these disputes.
"It's really about reaching communities together with government under the leadership of the premier and community safety department that are trying to come up with programmes that helps us as the police and society," he said.
"The majority of these incidents when they happen it's a conflict between one person and another which unfortunately leads to tragedy."
