Expropriation Act | DA says amending Act will unlock investment

JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance believes that the courts should have the final say to clarify certain clauses in the Expropriation Act.

The party says the Act is unconstitutional in its current form, and would like to see it amended.

"It will clear a lot of the noise that is preventing investment from taking place in South Africa," said DA leader John Steenhuisen.

"We already have an uphill battle trying to attract investment, what we don't need to do is to create further rocks on our backs."
