eThekwini to elect new mayor

DURBAN - After a month-long wait, Durban residents will finally know who their mayor is.

The new mayor is expected to be elected when the eThekwini council sits on Wednesday.

Former KZN Agriculture MEC Cyril Xaba is touted to take the reins.

The position became vacant when Mxolisi Kaunda was redeployed to the National Council of Provinces.
