He touched down at Cape Town International Airport this weekend to a hero's welcome.

Alex Mashilo from the South African Communist Party (SACP) says this was not a sign of divine by the Rasool.
He says the President did not prohibit anyone from welcoming Rasool but rather said those who would welcome him should avoid inflammatory statements in the context of the contradictions that have emerged in South Africa's relations with the US
Rasool is sticking by his criticism of the Trump administration and says he has no regrets.
