JOHANNESBURG - The South African Police Service in Gauteng is conducting a covert operation in Johannesburg.
It's targeting a hijacked building in Hillbrow.
Johannesburg Mayor Dada Morero said the operation might have been compromised.
"We went through the seven floors and much has not been recovered," he said.
"We want to send a message that we'll continue monitoring this building."
