Mchunu concerned about WC crime stats
CAPE TOWN - Police Minister Senzo Mchunu says the Western Cape's increasing crime statistics are a major concern.
The crime stats for the first half of the year reveal a 2.6 percent rise in contact crime in the province compared to the previous year.
Rape also increased by 0.6 percent.
Mchunu however remains confident the scourge will be addressed.
